Mew Finance: A Playful DeFi Toolkit for the Ergo Ecosystem

Mew Finance is a decentralized application suite on the Ergo Blockchain. The project launched in October 2024 and it brings DeFi, digital assets, and cross chain features into one cohesive platform. Long time community developers HQΣr and Aco Šmrkas lead the project. The design favors modularity, ease of use, and deep ecosystem integration.

• Exchange

  • DEX: A decentralized exchange, an Ergodex fork, for trading Ergo native and wrapped assets with low fees. The app supports liquidity provision and yield farming.
  • NFT Mart: A marketplace for individual and bundled NFT listings. Payments work with ERG or supported wrapped assets.
  • Mew Store: Discover unique NFTs and digital and Phygital assets from verified merchants.
  • Bank: A stablecoin focused financial interface with swaps, deposits, and on chain accounting.
  • Bridge: A centralized NFT bridge between Ergo and Cardano with two way transfers of verified collections. The bridge locks assets on the source chain, verifies collections, mints or unlocks NFTs on the target chain, and creates on chain Registry NFTs that store proof and history for all bridged assets.

  • Fun: A decentralized lottery in collaboration with ErgOne. The aim is higher engagement and liquidity.
  • Mew Lock: Lock ERG and tokens with smart contracts on the Ergo blockchain. Set your own unlock conditions and keep full control over your assets.
  • Mew Payment: Crypto native payment requests and fulfillment across supported assets with stablecoin support.

  • Ergosanta: A seasonal initiative that uses proof of work to distribute community rewards.

• Mew Bridge launched in Q2 2025. It adds NFT transfers between Ergo and Cardano through a centralized, bot driven, off chain processing engine. Registry NFTs and full on chain data persistence provide transparency and verifiability.
• Mart UX Optimizations improved page load times and listing navigation.
• Trading Dashboard went live in Q1 2025 and now consolidates on chain data across dApps.
• Phygital expansion with Proof of Merch brought real world utility to Kitty NFT holders.
